Core Boot Camp

A practical leadership operating system for frontline supervisors.

Eight modules delivered virtually over four weeks for supervisors who were promoted because they knew the work—but were never fully trained to lead the people doing it.

Best fit

Built for real operational environments.

This is not broad executive leadership training. It is designed for frontline supervisors working where standards, staffing, safety, production, quality, and people problems must be managed at the same time.

Strong fit

  • Warehouse or manufacturing operations
  • First-time or undertrained supervisors
  • Three or more frontline leaders
  • Multiple shifts or departments
  • Recurring accountability and consistency problems
  • Managers spending too much time stepping into supervisor issues

Probably not the right fit

  • A one-hour motivational keynote
  • Executive-only strategy training
  • A replacement for company policy or HR processes
  • Technical equipment or safety certification
  • A promise that training alone will fix structural staffing or process failures

Curriculum

Four weeks. Eight practical modules.

Each session connects the people side of leadership to the operational consequences managers already see on the floor.

1

Foundations

Supervisors name the gap between being a strong individual contributor and becoming responsible for team performance.

  • Module 1: The Supervisor Transition
  • Module 2: Setting and Holding Standards
2

Hard Conversations

Supervisors practice direct, respectful accountability and structure the conversations they have been avoiding.

  • Module 3: Accountability Without Conflict Avoidance
  • Module 4: Difficult Conversations
3

Develop the Team

Supervisors learn when to direct, when to coach, and how their staffing decisions move operational metrics.

  • Module 5: Coaching vs. Directing
  • Module 6: Scheduling, Labor Utilization, and KPI Literacy
4

Hold the Line

Supervisors slow down conflict, move it private, and maintain the same standards after the shift changes.

  • Module 7: Conflict De-escalation on the Floor
  • Module 8: Building Consistency Across Shifts

What is included

A complete pilot—not just presentation slides.

The buyer gets a defined experience for the supervisors and clear visibility into what happens during the four weeks.

4

Weekly sessions

Four 60–90 minute virtual sessions designed to limit time away from the floor.

8

Training modules

A structured progression from role transition and standards through coaching, metrics, conflict, and consistency.

W

Participant worksheets

Standard Builder, accountability script, GROW questions, schedule audit, de-escalation response, and handoff template.

P

Practice and role-play

Supervisors say the difficult parts out loud and receive direct feedback before using them on the floor.

F

Field assignments

Each supervisor applies one tool between sessions using a real current situation.

M

Manager readout

A brief midpoint check-in and final discussion of observed behavior change, gaps, and next steps.

Pilot process

Simple enough for an operations leader to approve.

Start small, measure behavior change, and expand only when the program proves useful.

Fit conversation

Identify the supervisor group, current pain points, delivery timing, and what the manager wants to see change.

Manager alignment

Confirm expectations, relevant company policies, and the situations supervisors should bring into the program.

Run the cohort

Deliver four sessions with role-play and field assignments between each session.

Review the change

Discuss what supervisors applied, where habits improved, and what support may still be needed.

Frequently asked questions

What a manager usually wants to know.

How many supervisors should be in a cohort?

The recommended pilot size is 3–8 supervisors from the same site, region, or operating environment. This is large enough for useful peer discussion while still leaving room for practice and feedback.

Is the program virtual or onsite?

The core offer is built for virtual delivery in four weekly 60–90 minute sessions. Onsite delivery or customization can be discussed separately when it makes operational and financial sense.

Can the examples be customized to our operation?

Yes. The program structure stays consistent, but the exercises should use the client’s real standards, schedules, handoff issues, and supervisor situations. Company-specific policy decisions remain with the client.

Does this replace HR training or company policy?

No. The Boot Camp builds practical frontline leadership habits. It does not replace employment law guidance, HR procedures, safety certification, or the client’s disciplinary policies.

How is pricing handled?

A pilot quote is provided after a short fit conversation because delivery details, group size, customization, and follow-up support can change the scope.

What happens after the four weeks?

The pilot ends with a manager readout and recommended next steps. Optional 30-day follow-up support can help reinforce the tools and address gaps that surface after the training.

Start with one supervisor group.

Use a focused pilot to see whether clearer standards, earlier accountability, better coaching, and cleaner handoffs show up on your floor.
